dc.description.abstract FT-IR and FT-Raman spectra of Sulfanilamide were recorded and analysed. Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectrum was recorded on a silver electrode surface. Potential dependence of SERS profile was studied. The profile is most prominent at an electrode potential of −1.0 V. The molecule is adsorbed on the silver surface with the benzene ring in a ‘tilted orientation’. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. en_US
